Process Questions

How long does the discovery meeting take?
About one hour. The first 45 minutes are yours - tell us what's going on and what matters most to you. The final 15 minutes we walk you through how DesignWealth works and what next steps could look like. You decide if it's a fit.
What do I need to prepare for the first meeting?
Nothing is required. Just bring your questions and goals. If you'd like to get a head start, having a rough idea of your income, debts, and current savings/investments is helpful, but we'll guide you through everything.
Can my spouse or partner join?
Absolutely. We encourage it. Financial planning works best when both partners are aligned and involved. Our pricing is household-based, so couples are included by default.
What happens if I want to cancel?
You can cancel your planning engagement with 30 days notice. The planning fee is structured annually - if you pay monthly, those payments are a convenience we extend, and any remaining months in your current annual period will be collected on cancellation. You keep your financial plan and all materials we have created for you.
Do you work with my existing accountant?
Yes. We are happy to work alongside your other trusted professionals and help coordinate where it makes sense for your situation. We complement your existing team rather than replace them.
